Death Notices MRS. EMMA A. VOLLMER Services will be at 1 p.m.
Saturday
in the Hill & Fredericks Chapel for Mrs. Emma Vollmer, 90,
former Burlington
resident who died Thursday in the Knowles Nursing Home. Friends
may call
at the chapel after 3 p.m. today. Burial will be in Sunset
Gardens in
Fockford, Ill.
Born July 1, 1870, in Burlington, Emma A. Baum married Charles
Vollmer
in 1892. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Dunlap, Davenport, and
Mrs.
William Spaulding, Rockford; a son, Earl C., Rock Island; nine
grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.

Mrs. Emma A. Vollmer Services for Mrs. Emma A. Volmer, 90, a
former resident of Rockford
who died Thursday in Davenport, Ia., after a long illness, will
be held at 1
p.m. today in the Hill and Fredericks mortuary, Davenport.
Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Sunset Memorial
Gardens, Rockford.
Mrs. Vollmer was born July 1, 1870, in Burlington, Ia., daughter
of
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lemburger. She lived five years in Rockford,
coming here
from Davenport. She married Charles Vollmer in Burlington in 1892.
Mrs. Vollmer was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church
while
in Rockford.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Dunlap, Davenport,
and
Mrs. William Spaulding, Rockford; a son, Earl, Rock Island; nine
grandchildren, including Lawrence and Kenneth Geiger, Rockford;
and 17
great-grandchildren.
