FREEMAN -- Rosa L. Freeman, 84, River Bluff Nursing Home, died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug 7, 1966 in the nursing home after a long illness. Born Sept 6, 1881 in Central city, Neb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Switzer. Lived 35 years in Rockford, coming here from Sycamore. Married to Raymond D. Freeman. Member of the Baptist Church. Survivors includ: one sone, Kenneth L. Freeman, Belvidere; 12 grandchildren. Her husband died Feb. 2, 1950.

Services for Raymond Freeman, 69, 119 South 3rd street, who died Thursday evening, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Long-Klontz funeral home, 428 Park avenue, with the Rev. B. E. Allen, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Bluff cemetery.
Mr. Freeman was born July 19, 1880 in Malta, but lived in Rockford most of his life. Ill health forced him to retire three years ago from the J.L. Clark company, where he was a fireman. He died while being taken to Swedish American hospital in an ambulance.
Surviving are his widow, Rosa, a patient in Swedish-American hospital, a son, Kenneth Freeman, Belvidere; and a brother, Alva, Malta.
